A few days before Christmas, these two high school sweethearts welcomed their first child into the world. A week a later I came to their home and photographed them as a new family of three and I couldn't have been more honored to do so. I've known Samantha and Scotty since I was 15 or so, when we were all just a bunch of fun-loving, goofy teenagers with dreams about what our futures would look like. Now we're here, living the season of our lives we always only spoke about as "one day". It's a bit surreal to see these guys as parents, but so awesome to see them slip into these new roles so naturally.
Easton was so content during our time together. He showed off a few to die for yawns, some adorable little sneezes, and his well functioning digestive system, if you catch my drift ;) We sure caught his, lol! But in all seriousness, he's as close to a perfect little baby as a baby can be, and I am so delighted to have had the pleasure of photographing such a cutie. Congrats, Sam and Scotty! Cheers to parenthood!
