Erica and Josh may have gotten married in October (to see their wedding, go here!) but we got together again earlier this month at the Dallas Arboretum for an after session- my first one!- to do some more portraits we just simply didn't have time to do on their big day. The moment Erica told me she was doing something a bit more dramatic for these portraits, and that a fur was involved, which ended up being a good call on her part because it was 30-something degrees this day, I got super pumped. Their actual wedding was full of beautiful pinks and light florals, at the beautiful Hidden Pines Chapel, and is one of my favorites of the year, but this session was just <3 <3 <3!! The different take on all the accessories, that fur, his tie, that AMAZING bouquet and gorgeous deep berry lip.... I can't. Not only are these two tall, attractive, super in love humans who make my job super easy, but they are some of the kindest, fun, and most thoughtful. Working with friends like these is the absolute best and reminds me why I love this job so much. Cheers to the Smiths! Ps.
