MR. + MRS. YAGER | COASTAL NAGS HEAD WEDDING

Gosh, where do I start? I didn't really know what to expect for this wedding weekend. I'd never been to this part of the east coast, or photographed a wedding on the beach, or flown with all my gear before. It was definitely a weekend of firsts and it all went. so. perfectly. From the early flight into North Carolina the day before, to the delicious rehearsal dinner, to the awesome weather and absolutely beautifully decorated ceremony and reception, I couldn't have asked for better.

Erin and Jack were relaxed all day long, radiating peace and readiness in becoming husband and wife. Pre ceremony pictures were a breeze, the ceremony went smoothly, although I may have gotten a pretty great sunburn lol, and you know it's gotta mean something good when you're doing portraits and you see dolphins splashing about behind you in the ocean. All day it just felt a bit surreal to be on a beach, doing what I love to do, my husband right beside me as my teammate, watching an old friend become a wife.

Their reception was held at Jack's father's beach house just a few minutes walk away from the ceremony site. Around the pool, which had floral arrangements floating about it, appetizers were served, followed by dinner under a dreamy white tent. There were drinks, dancing, smores, and goodie bags of popcorn....we may have taken three... and we went back to our AirBnB tired but so excited with how well the day unfolded. We are so grateful to Erin, Jack and their families for trusting us and believing in us enough to fly us out to document such a big day in their lives.
