I had SO much fun at the engagement session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve with Katelyn and Kyle. These Aggies drove up from College Station earlier in the day and met me for coffee at Sumermoon in Frisco to hang out before we headed to the session. It looked like it was going to be an overcast day, but as we sat there chatting and sipping coffee, the clouds began to part and the sun began to shine. It had been raining like, non stop for what seemed like the entire month of October, so the fact that it wasn't raining this day was a gift in itself. The sunshine, well, that was just extra love from The Lord.
It was so crazy muddy at Arbor Hills this day. Somehow I didn't anticipate it (*facepalm*). But these guys were awesome sports. They got their nice shoes super dirty in our attempts at getting to the spots with the good light, and even sat on a the soggy ground (the blanket they were sitting on didn't help much), but it was totally worth it in my opinion lol. I think they feel the same.
Katelyn and Kyle are some of the goofiest people and so incredibly easy to get along with. I knew Kyle was a fun loving guy- he had been a groomsmen in a wedding I had shot in the summer of 2017 and he basically didn't leave the dance floor all night. He and Katelyn together are full of energy and laughter, and I think these images totally reflect that. I can't wait to see what fun we have at their wedding next June. Regardless of how anything goes that day, I know it's sure to reflect Christ and be overflowing with joy, just like them.
