Kaylee and Chase make some pretty cute kiddos. This session was the second time they invited me into their home to document their growing family. We did a lifestyle newborn session when they had their first born, Ellie, and again for this session for their second babe, Owen.
It can be daunting trying to take pictures with a toddler, but I have found the more you allow them to be themselves, the more you go with their flow and don’t make them sit still and smile too much, they’re usually at least willing to be somewhat involved in the session. And if not, grab a book and reading to them pretty much does it! Some of my very favorite images from this session are those of Ellie just being the crazy kid that she is- jumping on the bed, rolling around, climbing on the crib to see Owen and bring him stuffed animals… I love it.
