ALEX + RYAN | ROMANTIC CREEK BED ENGAGEMENT
This is what engagement session dreams are made of, guys. The day before this it was unseasonably cold and a little cloudy, so with our plans for them to be in the water I asked if they would be interested in waiting until the next day when it was supposed to be about 15 degrees warmer and sunny, and I am SO GLAD WE DID THAT. It ended up being one of the most beautiful days of the year so far. I couldn't have asked for more from these two. From their clothing choices to the w

ADDISON + CHRIS | ARBOR HILLS ENGAGEMENT
I'm going to start this with how Chris proposed, because I feel like it's the best thing ever. It was during a Christmas party. Addison may or may not have been dressed up in a santa suit onesie. Awesome, right? Her friends distracted her in another room while everyone got in position, and as she opened the door it dawned her what was going down. It was pretty dang funny, but for as funny as it situation was, it was even more sweet. By the reactions of their friends and famil

MADELINE + KYLE | THE VENUE AT WATERSTONE CELINA ENGAGEMENT
Fun story, guys. The first time I met Kyle was the day a group of friends and I left for Durango, CO for spring break. Originally another person was supposed to be going with us but had to bail last minute, so one of the guys going on the trip asked Kyle, who was just a guy he knew from one of his classes, if he wanted to go with us. Kyle was down, so he showed up, met us all, drove 12 hours and spent a week with a bunch of strangers. WHO DOES THAT! Lol. Good thing he's a goo

NATALIE + NATHAN | SCENIC TURNER FALLS ENGAGEMENT
GOOOOOD.NESSSSSS. That pretty much sums up how I feel about this session with Natalie and Nate. These two are both teachers who ended up falling in love walking the same hallways of the school they work at. He proposed in Colorado, in the freezing cold, on top of a sonic overlook. With an adventurous spirit like that I knew Turner Falls would be perfect for them. In those cute heels you see her wearing below, we trekked through the rocky trails and fields of cacti (sans heels

HANNAH + JACKSON | WHITE ROCK LAKE ENGAGEMENT
The first time I saw Hannah I was seven years old and she was about five or so, and my family had just moved in next door to her and her family. We grew up playing together every so often, riding bikes or playing baseball in the yard or basketball in the driveway. We were simply next door neighbors, linked by the street name we put down when we wrote out our address, but a few years ago something else linked us. Something eternal. I came to know the Lord. Hannah noticed, of c

BRITTANY + MICHAEL | THE GROVE AUBREY ENGAGEMENT
Brittany, Micheal, and I all went to the same schools growing up. Yep, from elementary school to high school. Crazy, right?! So when Brittany contacted me about wedding photography I knew their wedding was one I had to take.
It's without a doubt that these two are crazy about each other. Witnessing them laugh and just be together so freely and easily on this early Spring afternoon was an encouragement to my heart. Their energy was contagious and I am so excited that I get
